Job Description

Support the testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of protection relays and substation control systems. Perform relay testing, calibration, fault analysis, protection setting verification, and scheme testing while ensuring reliable operation of substation equipment and supporting substation automation activities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Test, maintain, and calibrate protection relays and protection systems.
• Perform secondary injection, scheme, Auto Reclose, and sync check testing.
• Verify protection settings, breaker operations, and control circuits.
• Analyze faults using relay indications, disturbance records, and event logs.
• Inspect CT/PT wiring, interlocks, and CRP panels.
• Document testing, maintenance, and fault analysis activities.
• Coordinate with SAS engineers for system integration and signal verification.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of Protection Relays, CT/PT Circuits, and Control Circuits.
• Experience in Relay Testing, Calibration, and Secondary Injection Testing.
• Understanding of Protection Schemes, Auto Reclose, and Sync Check Functions.
• Fault Analysis and Troubleshooting Skills.
• Familiarity with Substation Automation Systems (SAS).
• Technical Documentation and Reporting Skills.
• Good Communication and Team Coordination Abilities.

Terms & Conditions:

• Three and half years indemnity bond will be submitted by the Candidate.
