Job Description

We are seeking a Senior - SCADA Engineer to lead SCADA commissioning, system integration, and automation projects for substations and power plants. The role involves configuring RTUs, gateways, and communication protocols, coordinating with customers and site teams, troubleshooting technical issues, managing project execution, and mentoring junior engineers to ensure successful project delivery. Experience in SCADA systems, substation automation, IEC 61850, Modbus, and power utility projects is preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage SCADA commissioning and project execution activities.
• Configure and integrate RTUs, gateways, meters, and SCADA systems.
• Coordinate with site teams, customers, and utility stakeholders.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and system validation (FAT/SAT).
• Ensure seamless communication using IEC 61850, IEC 101/104, Modbus, and OPC protocols.
• Prepare technical documentation and project reports.
• Provide technical support and resolve system issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive successful project delivery.

Desired Skills:

• Strong knowledge of SCADA Systems and Substation Automation
• Experience in RTU, Gateway, and Meter Configuration
• Proficiency in IEC 61850, IEC 101/104, Modbus TCP/RTU, and OPC
• Power Utility / Power Plant Project Experience
• Troubleshooting and Technical Problem-Solving Skills

• Exposure to Siemens, ABB, GE, or SEL SCADA Platforms
